Ingredients

  • 200g bananas (2 medium)
  • 200g avocado (1 big)
  • 15g cacao
  • 40g whey protein powder (or vegan)
  • 1 egg
  • 1g cinnamon powder
  • zero calorie sweetener to taste (I used a few mg of sucralose)
  • 1g salt
  • 1g baking powder

I read online that you can make this recipe from only three ingredients (bananas, cacao, and peanut butter), but I had a ripe avocado and wanted to use it. I will maybe try with peanut butter as well, but avocado is healthier and has more volume (fewer calories) than peanut butter.

If you are a fan of chocolate, brownies, fudge, or cookies, this recipe is definitely for you. I made many variations of brownies in the past, but this is the best version of brownies I ever made. I used only a fork to make the mixture and the air fryer to bake. You can use the oven, but it takes longer to heat and more electricity. I don't know if it works in the microwave though.

Anyway, it is a great treat with few calories, high in fiber, and high in protein. I use sucralose as a sweetener, but you can use stevia, erythritol, xylitol, or any other zero-calorie sweetener. Same for protein powder, use any protein powder you want as long as it is chocolate flavored.
